About Me

I began writing professionally at the age of 55, thanks to Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. As a special education literacy coach, my primary responsibility was teaching teachers how to teach writing to students with divergent learning needs. Throughout my 35-plus year career as a special educator, I spent as much time teaching as I did learning from the students labeled disabled by the neurotypical majority.
